What We’re Looking For

We’re recruiting a leader to take overall responsibility for a 45-bed rest home and dementia care facility. This is an opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse or clinical leader to step into a highly visible, hands-on role where relationships, culture, and quality care truly matter.

What You’ll Step Into

• Leadership of an 18-bed secure dementia unit and a 27-bed rest home

• Oversight of a dedicated team of 30+ staff, including RNs, Team Leaders, HCAs, and onsite services

• A facility with strong compliance credentials, including a 4-year Ministry of Health certification

• The chance to build meaningful relationships with families, GPs, and the wider Oamaru community

• A hands-on leadership role in a home known for warmth, history, and exceptional resident care

Your Background

• Registered Nurse or strong clinical background with experience working closely with nursing teams

• Proven leadership capability within aged care or a similar environment

• Confident managing both clinical standards and day-to-day operations

• Relationship-focused, with the ability to engage staff, families, and external stakeholders
